What is Free Thinking Horsemanship?

Charmaine's goal is to teach her clients to work with their horses with an open mind. This training will hopefully carry over into the way they live their lives. She sees so many students who get "stuck" in a particular training regimen and they don't know how to think "outside the box" that Charmaine wants to help her clients learn how to find what works well for them and their horses and to be able to apply free thinking to all aspects of their lives. She helps her students learn to be objective when evaluating the plethora of training information and methods that are out there.

Charmaine has a degree in psychology with an emphasis on Animal Assisted Therapy. Using her psychology background as well as her teaching/training background Charmaine teaches problem solving skills, how to change your mind set to be more positive, how to make equipment you want to use, and how to evaluate your own and your horse's problem areas in an objective manner. These are techniques that can apply to all areas of your life, not just with your horses and riding.

Charmaine is in the final stages of writing a book explaining this theory in much greater detail. Please watch this site for news about it's publication and how you can get a copy of your own.
